ADULT COURSES

You can’t beat a dinghy for learning the rudiments of

sailing. If you have never sailed before, by the end of

the week we will have you confident in your ability to

manage a boat in reasonable conditions. We aim to

give you the best possible introduction to dinghy

sailing.

If you are looking to develop existing skills, you will find

our exciting coastal waters always provide varied

learning opportunities. Depending on your interests

and experience the RYA syllabus offers the opportunity

to specialise and attain relevant RYA certificates:

day sailing

seamanship

spinnakers

performance sailing

High instructor to student ratios and intensive personal

instruction help make Tighnabruaich Sailing School a

unique experience.

If you have some knowledge of sailing and would

prefer a less structured holiday, you and your friends

could reserve a residential week outwith the dates advertised and we would tailor the sailing to your

requirements. We can day sail from our base at Carry Farm and spend the week exploring islands

and bays. (minimum of 4 please).
